1. At the corresponding complete set of the car make deactivation of a safety cushion (see the Head Onboard electric equipment).
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!

3. Remove the cowl lock otpuskaniye handle from the lower finishing section.
4. Remove a knee emphasis.
5. Remove an air sleeve of knee level and dismantle a steering wheel (see the Section Removal and installation of a steering wheel).
6. Remove the top and lower sections of a casing of a steering column.
7. On the Diamante models remove knee having blown also in a sleeve of air supply in a foot well.
8. In case of need release an electrical wiring plait from intermediate clamps on a steering column.
9. Disunite the corresponding contact sockets.
10. On the Galant and Diamante models turn out fixing screws and remove on the left side of a steering column the understeering switch (assembled with a contact spring of a safety cushion - the models equipped with SRS).
11. On the Diamante models turn out fixing screws and take the switch of ignition of the cylinder of castle assembly.
12. Insert a key into the cylinder of the lock of ignition and turn it in the provision of ASSORTMENT.
13. The suitable sharp tool push inside a lock pin in the cylinder of the lock of blocking of a steering column and take the castle cylinder outside.
14. At the corresponding complete set dismantle the alarm sensor switch of extraction of the ignition key.

1. On the Mirage models install the lock cylinder on the basic arm.

If replacement of an arm was made, then before an oblamyvaniye of heads of srezny locks make sure of serviceability of functioning of the cylinder.

2. On the Galant and Diamante models install the cylinder in a casing of castle assembly, - track reliability of a zashchelkivaniye of clamps. Fill the ignition switch in a casing, achieve combination of castle wells and screw fixing screws.
3. On the Galant and Diamante models establish into place assembly of the understeering switch with the contact SRS reel, restore initial connection of an electrical wiring.
4. At the corresponding complete set install the alarm sensor switch of extraction of a key.
5. Connect an electrical wiring and establish a clamp.
6. If removed, establish into place knee having blown also in a sleeve of an air duct.
7. Establish casings of a steering column.
8. Establish a steering wheel and a knee emphasis.
9. Install the cowl lock otpuskaniye handle.
10. Connect a negative wire to the battery, activate a safety cushion and check serviceability of functioning of the switch of ignition.
