1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!

2. Remove the cowl lock otpuskaniye handle.
3. Remove a knee emphasis.
4. Remove a sleeve of an air duct and the panel of finishing of knee level.
5. Remove a steering wheel (see the Section Removal and installation of a steering wheel).
6. Remove the top and lower section of a casing of a steering column.
7. On the Galant models insert a key into the lock of ignition and turn it in the provision of ASS, then the small sharp tool push a lock pin in castle assembly and take the lock cylinder.

On models with AT on a wall of the castle cylinder the sliding lever of the drive of blocking of a key from which it is necessary to disconnect a driving cable is installed.

8. At the corresponding complete set dismantle the alarm sensor switch of extraction of the ignition key.
9. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the ignition switch. Turn out fixing screws and take assembly of the switch from the castle cylinder.

1. On models with AT take a key and install the sliding lever on the lock cylinder and connect to it a driving cable. Grease a cable with lubricant and install the cylinder in a casing of castle assembly. Check serviceability of functioning of the lock.
2. Fill the ignition switch in a back part of a casing of castle assembly, - track correctness of combination of wells.
3. Connect an electrical wiring and establish a clamp.
4. Establish casings of a steering column.
5. Establish a steering wheel and a knee emphasis.
6. Install the cowl lock otpuskaniye handle.
7. Connect a negative wire to the battery, activate a safety cushion and check serviceability of functioning of the switch of ignition.

2. Deactivate a safety cushion (see the Head Onboard electric equipment).
3. Remove a steering wheel (see the Section Removal and installation of a steering wheel).
4. Remove the cowl lock otpuskaniye handle.
5. Remove the switches located on the panel of a knee emphasis under a steering column, turn out the opened screws and dismantle an emphasis.
6. Remove the top and lower sections of a casing of a steering column, - try not to break off the directing uvulas.
7. If it is required, remove an air supply sleeve in a foot well, then accurately disconnect an electrical wiring from the ignition switch.
8. Turn out fixing screws and release the switch from the castle cylinder.

1. Fill the switch in a casing of castle assembly, - track correctness of combination of wells. Screw and tighten fixing screws.
2. Connect an electrical wiring to the switch.
3. Establish knee having blown also in a sleeve of an air duct.
4. Establish a knee emphasis and the panel of switches.
5. Install the cowl lock otpuskaniye handle.
6. Establish a steering wheel.
7. Establish casings of a steering column.
8. Connect a negative wire to the battery, activate a safety cushion and check serviceability of functioning of the switch of ignition.
