Some of the cars considered in the present manual of model are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS). Before starting performance of any works near blocks of safety cushions, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid getting injured at its casual operation (see the Head Onboard electric equipment). It is easy to distinguish an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS on yellow color of isolation. |
The body of the cars considered in the present manual has a universal design which bearing element is the floor panel equipped with lobbies and back longerons and forming similarity of a frame to which, in turn, body panels, components of a suspension bracket, steering, etc. fasten.
Some of body elements, the most vulnerable in case of accident, have bolted fixture and can be easily replaced. Moldings, bumpers, door panels, a cowl, a cover of the luggage compartment and all glasses are among such removable components.
Only the most general procedures of repair and service of body components get to limits of qualification of the average amateur mechanic.
