14.6. Check of serviceability of functioning and replacement of the breaker of indexes of turns / alarm system

The models of cars considered in the present manual are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS). Before starting performance of any works near the block of a safety cushion, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid getting injured at its casual operation (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the general information and precautionary measures). It is easy to distinguish an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS on yellow color of isolation.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!

1. The breaker of indexes of turns / the alarm system is placed in the saloon assembly block of safety locks under the car dashboard at the left.
2. Serviceability of functioning of the breaker is confirmed by distinctly heard rhythmical clicking. At refusal of one of indexes the frequency of operation of the breaker doubles, informing the driver on need of performance of the replacement which failed lamps/lamps.
3. The simultaneous refusal of both indexes with high degree of probability demonstrates failure of the corresponding safety lock in the internal assembly block. Also the possibility of failure actually of the breaker, or the understeering switch is not excluded. Check a condition of contact connections of an electrical wiring of the corresponding chain. At knocking-out of a safety lock check an electrical wiring for existence of signs of short circuit, - be verified with schemes of electric connections (see the Section of the Scheme of electric connections).

1. Track that the replaceable breaker on the standard size corresponded failed.
2. Replacement of the breaker is made by its extraction from the landing nest in the assembly block.
3. At installation of the replaceable breaker track correctness of combination of the directing ledges.
