14.9. Removal and installation of block headlights of tight type

The models of cars considered in the present manual are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS). Before starting performance of any works near the block of a safety cushion, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid getting injured at its casual operation (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the general information and precautionary measures). It is easy to distinguish an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS on yellow color of isolation.



1. By means of the switch transfer headlights to the lifted situation.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!

3. Release fixing screws and remove the top and lower sections of facing of a block headlight.
4. Turn out screws and remove a ring of fastening of a block headlight.
5. Partially release a block headlight from the body panel and disconnect from it an electrical wiring.
6. Remove a block headlight from the car.



1. Connect an electrical wiring to a headlight.
2. Establish a block headlight on the regular place and record its fixing ring and screws.
3. Establish assembly facing sections. Screw and tighten fixing screws.
