9. Remove a basic arm of the steering pump.
10. Remove a basic arm of the generator.
11. Turn out fixing bolts and remove assembly of the water pump, its sealing laying, and also a sealing ring of the nipple socket(s) of a branch pipe of an admission of water.

Bolts of fastening of the water pump have various length, - try to remember exact location of each of fixture elements.

1. Carefully smooth out the interfaced surfaces of assembly of the water pump and the block of the engine, then wipe with their rags moistened in acetone.
2. On models of 1.5 l install a new sealing ring in a reception flute on the forward side of a branch pipe of an admission of water.

The ring is established dry, without use of any oils or lubricants! It is only allowed to moisten slightly a ring before landing by water.

3. On models of 1.8 l impose a continuous pillow of sealant 2.5 ÷ thick of 3.0 mm on the interfaced surface of the pump, then press pump assembly to the engine, screw and tighten fixing bolts with the required effort (24 H • м).

Installation of the pump has to be made within no more than 15 minutes after putting sealant! Gas station of the cooling system and start of the engine can be carried out not less than an hour later after installation of the pump!

4. On models of 1.5 l install assembly of the water pump on the engine (do not forget to replace sealing laying), screw fixing bolts and tighten them with the required effort (25 H • l), - try not to allow shifts of pump assembly in the course of tightening of fixture.
5. Installation of the remained components is made as it should be, the return to an order of their dismantle.
6. Fill in fresh cooling liquid in system.
7. Connect the battery, start the engine, warm up it up to the normal working temperature and modify the level of cooling liquid in a radiator. Check the cooling system for existence of signs of development of leaks.
8. After cooling of the engine double-check the level of cooling liquid.

11. Shoot an intermediate video of a belt of the drive of the K/V compressor and its (roller) a basic arm.

12. Remove a basic arm of the generator.

13. Turn out fixing bolts and remove assembly of the water pump, its sealing laying, and also a sealing ring of the nipple socket(s) of a branch pipe of an admission of water.

6. Establish gear belts of the GRM drive and a balancing shaft (see the Section Removal and installation of a cover of the GRM drive and a gas-distributing belt).
7. Establish belts of the drive of auxiliary units.
8. Establish an arm of a support of a suspension bracket of the power unit.
