1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!

2. On models of 1.8 l mark and disconnect wire VV from spark plugs.
3. Disconnect a gas cable, a branch pipe of a sapun and the PCV valve with the hose brought to it.
4. Uncover a head of cylinders (see the Section Removal and installation of a cover of a head of cylinders). The design of assembly of the drive of valves is presented on illustrations.
5. In stages evenly weaken fixture and take from the axis engine with the yokes which are put on them.
6. If there is a need for removal of yokes from axes, take care of a possibility of organized storage of components (at assembly they have to be established strictly on the former places).

1. Oil axes of yokes pure motive and put on them yokes and springs (it is strict on the former places).
2. Install assemblies of axes with yokes in the engine and tighten bolts of their fastening with the required effort (32 H • м).
3. Check correctness of adjustment of valvate gaps, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment, then establish a cover of a head of cylinders and tighten bolts of its fastening with the required effort (1.8 H • m - for engines of 1.5 l and 3.3 H • m - for engines 1.8 l).
4. If removed, connect VV an electrical wiring to spark plugs.
5. Restore initial connection of a cable of gas, a branch pipe of a sapun and hose of PCV.
6. Connect a negative wire to the battery.

1. On these engines of a yoke of the drive of valves are equipped with hydraulic pushers. In case of need the pusher can be taken from the landing nest in a yoke. Authors of the present manual recommend to make replacement of all pushers and hydroproofreaders of valvate gaps at the same time. The design of assembly of the drive of valves is presented on an illustration.

3. Uncover a head of cylinders.
4. Mark position of the case of the distributor of ignition in relation to a head of cylinders. Remove the distributor.
5. Take off a gas-distributing belt.
6. Moving from the center outside in evenly in stages a diagonal order release fixture of covers of bearings of the camshaft.
7. Take axes of yokes with the yokes which are put on them assembled with covers of bearings, - remember that at assembly all components have to be installed strictly on the former places and in the former provisions!
8. Make dismantle of assembly of the drive of valves, - begin with removal of a cover of the back bearing, then you pass serially from one component to another.
9. Check a state and freedom of rotation of rollers of yokes, estimate degree of wear of internal walls of nests under landing of pushers. In case of need make replacement of yokes.

1. Slightly grease the rear edges of covers of face bearings.
2. Enclose assemblies in a cover of the forward bearing (risks of axes up). Screw, but do not tighten still adjusting bolt.
3. Screw bolts of covers of the remained bearings and evenly tighten them with the required effort (20 H • м). Remove holders of hydroproofreaders of valvate gaps.
4. Establish a gas-distributing belt.
5. Install into place the ignition distributor, - track for correctness of combination of the landing tags put in the course of dismantle.
6. Remove the devices fixing assemblies of hydroproofreaders.
7. Establish into place a cover of a head of cylinders, - do not forget to replace laying and semi-ring consolidations.
8. Connect a negative wire to the battery.
9. Start the engine and check correctness of installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).

5. In stages evenly weaken and turn out clamping bolts of fixing of assembly of the drive of valves and take the last from the engine. In case of need dismantle of assembly take care of a possibility of organized storage of the removed components.
6. Check a state and freedom of rotation of rollers of yokes, estimate degree of wear of internal walls of nests under landing of pushers. In case of need make replacement of all set of yokes.

1. Previously having greased components mount assembly of the drive of valves, having established on the regular places yokes and springs.
2. Install assembly on the engine and in stages evenly tighten fixing bolts with the required effort (29 ÷ 35 H • м).
3. Remove the devices used for fixing of hydroproofreaders.
4. Establish into place a cover of a head of cylinders (do not forget to replace sealing laying).
5. Connect a negative wire to the battery.

10. Check a state and freedom of rotation of rollers of yokes, estimate degree of wear of internal walls of nests under landing of pushers. In case of need make replacement of all set of yokes.

1. Ship assemblies of hydroproofreaders of valvate gaps in pure diesel fuel and make their filling, having completely removed air: by means of a wire four-five times move a plunger up-down, at the same time slightly pressing a control ball (repeat the procedure for each of pushers).
2. Put pushers everyone in the yoke and record them by means of special adaptation.
3. Oil axes pure motive and put on them yokes.
4. Temporarily tighten bolts of fastening of axes so that yokes of all inlet valves did not press the last.

5. From above put springs of axes, having placed them under the correct corners to a cap. Put springs before installation of assembly of the drive of final valves.

6. Lay assembly of the drive of final valves in the engine, screw and evenly, in stages tighten bolts of its fastening with the required effort (32 H • м).
7. Remove the fixing assemblies of hydroproofreaders of adaptation.
8. Establish into place a cover of a head of cylinders and tighten bolts of its fastening with effort 3 H • m.
9. Connect wire VV to spark plugs.
10. Connect a hose of PCV and a branch pipe of a sapun to a cover of a head of cylinders.
11. Establish into place an air inlet sleeve.
12. Restore initial laying and connection of a cable of gas.
13. Connect a negative wire to the battery.

2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

6. Uncover the back bearing of the camshaft, then remove from an axis of a yoke of the drive of valves, a spring and a washer, - track organization of warehousing of the removed components.
7. Estimate a condition and degree of wear of components, in case of need make replacement of all set of yokes.

6. Make sure that axes of yokes are developed by risks up, then establish covers of bearings (track correctness of their orientation), screw and in stages evenly tighten with the required effort (20 H • l) bolts of their fastening.

7. Remove the fixing assemblies of hydroproofreaders of adaptation.
8. Establish into place a cover of a head of cylinders.
9. Connect a negative wire to the battery.

3. Uncover the GRM drive and a gas-distributing belt (see the Section Removal and installation of a cover of the GRM drive and a gas-distributing belt).
4. Remove the central cover, a branch pipe of a sapun and a hose of PCV. Disconnect VV of a wire of spark plugs.
5. Uncover a head of cylinders.
6. Remove a throttle case rack, cogwheels and epiploons of both camshafts.
7. Remove from the back party of the camshaft the sensor of position of the camshaft (SMR) with a nozzle.
8. Remove inlet and final camshafts.
9. Remove yokes of the drive of valves and hydroproofreaders, estimate degree of wear of components, in case of need make replacement of all set.

1. Ship assemblies of hydroproofreaders of valvate gaps in pure diesel fuel and make their filling, having completely removed air: by means of a wire four-five times move a plunger up-down, at the same time slightly pressing a control ball (repeat the procedure for each of pushers).
2. Grease hydroproofreaders of valvate gaps and establish them on the seats in a head of cylinders.
3. Grease camshafts and lay them in a head of cylinders.
4. Establish covers of bearings, screw fixing bolts and tighten them evenly in two-three receptions. Covers of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th bearings are equipped with the marking put in their forward part, - track that tags were combined with the reciprocal tags applied on a head surface. On covers of an inlet shaft tags in the form of a letter of I, final - E. Prosledite also behind correctness of landing of yokes on assemblies of hydroproofreaders and shafts of cores of valves are beaten out. Bolts of covers of forward and back bearings drag on with effort 20 H • m, central - 11 H • m.
5. Establish epiploons of camshafts, previously having oiled their pure motive.
6. Establish a gas-distributing belt (see the Section Removal and installation of a cover of the GRM drive and a gas-distributing belt), a cover of a head of cylinders and all other components which were removed for the purpose of ensuring access.
7. Connect a negative wire to the battery, start the engine and check it for existence of signs of development of leaks.

6. Estimate degree of wear of components, in case of need make replacement.

1. Establish assembly of the drive of valves with covers of bearings. Tighten fixing bolts with the required effort (31 H • м).
2. Remove clips, the fixing hydroproofreaders in nests of yokes.
3. Establish a cover of a head of cylinders (do not forget to replace sealing laying).
4. Connect a negative wire to the battery.
