1. Details of installation of assembly of the fuel pump / sensor of fuel consumption on the Mirage 1990 ÷ models of 1992 of the issue are presented on an illustration.
2. Dump pressure in a power supply system (see the Section Dropping Pressure in a power supply system).
3. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!

4. Merge the fuel remains from a tank in a suitable reception container.
5. Slightly you priopustit assembly of the fuel tank and disconnect the electrical wiring brought to its top part and lines of communication.
6. Remove the fuel tank from the car (see the Section Removal and installation of the fuel tank).
7. Give five fixing nuts and take assembly of the fuel pump / sensor of fuel consumption from a tank.

1. Establish assembly of the fuel pump / sensor of an expense on the regular place, - do not forget to replace sealing laying. Screw and tighten fixing nuts.
2. Install assembly of the fuel tank on the car (see the Section Removal and installation of the fuel tank).
3. Lower the car on the earth and pour the merged fuel back in a gasoline tank.
4. Connect a negative wire to the battery.
5. Check the pressure head characteristic of the fuel pump (see the Section Check of Serviceability of Functioning of the Fuel Pump, measurement of pressure of fuel). Examine a path of a power supply system on existence of signs of development of leaks.

2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

3. Merge the fuel remains from a tank in a suitable reception container.
4. Disconnect the electrical wiring brought to assembly of the fuel pump of fuel, make sure available fuel consumption sensor electrical wiring plait weak point, sufficient for a tank priopuskaniye. In case of need disconnect also a sensor electrical wiring, previously having marked a plait.
5. Disconnect the pressure head line from the pump.

6. Release самоконтрящиеся nuts of fastening of assembly brackets of a tank

7. Turn out bolts of fastening of the right cross bar and disconnect the lever from a joint of a body element. Lower a cross bar and tie up it a wire to assembly of the back bridge.

8. Turn out six fixing bolts and remove the sealing laying established in the tank basis.

9. Remove assembly of the fuel pump.

2. Pass a fixing bolt through an opening throughout the tank bottom (do not forget to replace sealing laying) and tighten it with the required effort (14 H • м).
3. Establish the right cross bar, screw a fixing bolt in the corresponding body joint and freely tighten it.
4. Tightening самоконтрящиеся nuts of assembly tapes of a tank, achieve dense landing it on the car. Tighten nuts with the required effort (31 H • м).
5. Connect a pressure head hose and tighten its nipple socket with the required effort (40 H • м).
6. Connect an electrical wiring to assembly of the gasoline pump/sensor of fuel consumption.
7. Lower the car on the earth and finally tighten a bolt of fastening of a cross bar with the required effort (80 ÷ 100 H • м).
8. Pour the fuel merged from it in a tank.
9. Connect a negative wire to the battery.
10. Check serviceability of functioning of a power supply system, examine its path on existence of signs of development of leaks.

3. The fuel pump is placed in a tank. Uncover access, installed in the back panel of a floor of the car.

4. Merge the fuel remaining in a tank in the reception container suitable on volume.
5. Disconnect an electrical wiring from pump assembly.
6. In case of need remove the double-thread valve limiter of control of level of fuel in a tank.
7. Disconnect the pressure head line.

8. Turn out six fixing bolts and take assembly of the gasoline pump/sensor of fuel consumption from a tank.

9. Achieve combination of three guides of pins mounted on laying with the corresponding openings of pump assembly. Track that nipples were deployed in the same party that before removal of the pump. Establish holders and tighten them with the required effort (3 H • м).
10. Connect a pressure head hose and tighten its nipple socket with the required effort (40 H • м).
11. Install into place the double-thread valve limiter and connect an electrical wiring to pump assembly.
12. Pour the fuel merged from it in a tank.
13. Connect a negative wire to the battery.
14. Check serviceability of functioning of a power supply system, examine its path on existence of signs of development of leaks.

15. Place a sealing element 3M ATD No. 8625 on the floor panel, then establish and fix a service cover.

4. Remove a service cover of access to assembly of the submersible fuel pump / sensor of fuel consumption.

5. Disconnect an electrical wiring from pump assembly.

6. Disconnect a returnable hose and the pressure head line.

7. Give fixing nuts and remove assembly.

2. Fill assembly of the gasoline pump/sensor of fuel consumption in a tank. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with the required effort (2.5 H • м).

At introduction of pump assembly to a tank the measuring float of the sensor of fuel consumption should be unbent to the left.

3. Connect the pressure head line and a hose of return of fuel to assembly.
4. Connect an electrical wiring.
5. Connect a negative wire to the battery.
6. Check the pressure head characteristic of the fuel pump (see the Section Check of Serviceability of Functioning of the Fuel Pump, measurement of pressure of fuel). Examine elements of a path of a power supply system on existence of signs of development of leaks.
7. Put a service cover of access to the pump on sealant. Establish into place a pillow of a back seat (see the Head Kuzov).

5. Disconnect an electrical wiring from pump assembly.
6. Disconnect a returnable hose and the pressure head line.

7. By means of the special MB991480 tool release the fixing cover and remove assembly of the fuel pump / sensor of fuel consumption.

1. Lay new sealing laying on a landing surface of a tank.
2. Fill assembly of the gasoline pump/sensor of fuel consumption in a tank, - track correctness of combination applied on assembly and the panel of a floor of landing tags.
3. By means of the special MB991480 tool tighten the fixing cover.
4. Connect the pressure head line and a hose of return of fuel to assembly.
5. Connect an electrical wiring.
6. Connect a negative wire to the battery.
7. Check the pressure head characteristic of the fuel pump (see the Section Check of Serviceability of Functioning of the Fuel Pump, measurement of pressure of fuel). Examine elements of a path of a power supply system on existence of signs of development of leaks.
8. Put a service cover of access to the pump on sealant.
9. Establish into place a pillow of a back seat (see the Head Kuzov).
