Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The scheme of installation of the inlet pipeline on engines of 1.5 l is submitted on an illustration.
2. During the work with components of a power supply system observe all taken measures of fire safety. Do not smoke! Do not approach the venue of works with naked flame or the carrying unprotected by the lamp shade! You do not make service of system in the rooms equipped with the heating devices using natural gas and equipped with a control torch (such as vodogre and dryers for clothes). Do not forget that gasoline is among cancerogenic substances, i.e., - the substances promoting development of cancer! Try not to allow hits of fuel on open parts of the body, use rubber protective gloves, at casual unforeseen contact with fuel carefully wash out hands warm water with soap. Immediately collect the spilled fuel and do not put the rags impregnated with fuel and lubricants near sources of naked flame. Remember that the power supply system of the models equipped with injection of fuel constantly is under pressure. Before starting a detachment of fuel lines, dump residual pressure in system. At service of components of a power supply system put on goggles. Constantly hold near at hand the class B fire extinguisher!
3. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action! Dump pressure in a power supply system (see the Head of the Power supply system and release).

Remember that gasoline is extremely flammable liquid! Empty the cooling system.

In order to avoid receiving burns, start performance of this work only after final cooling of system! Do not allow hit of antifreeze on open parts of the body and the painted surfaces of the car. Immediately wash away incidentally got splashes a plentiful amount of water. Remember that antifreeze is extremely toxic liquid and its hit in an organism even in small amounts is fraught with the most serious consequences (up to a lethal outcome). Never leave antifreeze stored in leaky closed container and immediately collect the cooling liquid spilled on a floor. Remember that the sweetish smell of antifreeze can draw to itself attention of children and animals. About ways utilization of the fulfilled cooling liquid consult at any station of car service. In many regions of the world special points on different reception of working off are equipped. Do not merge old cooling liquid in the sewerage and on the earth at all!

4. Disconnect the top radiator hose, a hose of a heater and perepuskny a hose of a water path.
5. Remove from the inlet pipeline a thermostat casing (see the Section Removal and installation of the thermostat).
6. Disconnect a gas cable, a branch pipe of a sapun and an inlet air duct.
7. Disconnect all vacuum hoses and tubes impeding the implementation of the forthcoming procedure, including the line of the vacuum amplifier of brakes.
8. Remove assembly of the case of a throttle.
9. Disconnect lines of giving and return of fuel.
10. Mark and disconnect an electrical wiring from the oxygen sensor, the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid, the sensor of temperature of the soaked-up air (IAT), assembly of management of turns of idling and the sensor of temperature of EGR. Also disconnect wire VV from spark plugs and a cover of the distributor.
11. Remove the fuel highway assembled with injectors, the regulator of pressure of fuel and insulating plugs.
12. Remove the EGR valve from the inlet pipeline.
13. Remove a basic arm of the inlet pipeline and an arm of a support of a suspension bracket of the power unit.
14. Turn out fixing bolts and remove assembly of the inlet pipeline.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out the interfaced surfaces of the inlet pipeline and a head of cylinders, having completely removed from them traces of sealant and fragments of material of old laying. Make sure of passability of water and air channels, - in case of need make their clearing. In conclusion wipe the interfaced surfaces with the rags moistened in acetone.
2. By means of the planeness measuring instrument (an edge of a steel ruler) and the probe of lezviyny type estimate degree of not planeness of the interfaced surface of the inlet pipeline (see Specifications), in case of need give the pipeline to a pro-point.
3. Lay new sealing laying on the interfaced surface of a head of cylinders, from above press assembly of the inlet pipeline. Screw fixing bolts and, moving in a diagonal order from within outside, evenly tighten them with the required effort (18 H • м).
4. Establish a basic arm of the inlet pipeline, screw fixing bolts and tighten them with the required effort (22 H • м).
5. Establish an arm of a support of a suspension bracket of the power unit, screw fixing bolts and tighten them with the required effort (36 H • м).
20 Having replaced sealing laying, install the EGR valve, screw fixing bolts and tighten them with the required effort (21 H • м).
6. Having replaced insulating plugs and sealing rings, install on the engine the fuel highway with injectors and the regulator of pressure. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with the required effort (10 ÷ 14 H • м).
7. Connect an electrical wiring to the oxygen sensor, sensors of temperature of cooling liquid, IAT and EGR and assembly of management of idling turns. Connect wire VV to spark plugs and to the distributor.
8. Having replaced, respectively, a sealing ring and a fixing collar, restore initial connection of lines of giving and return of fuel.
9. Install the throttle case.
10. Connect vacuum hoses and tubes (including a hose of the vacuum amplifier of brakes).
11. Connect (and adjust) a gas cable, a branch pipe of a sapun and an inlet air inlet.
12. Having replaced laying, install on the inlet pipeline assembly of the thermostat (see the Section Removal and installation of the thermostat). Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with the required effort (18 H • м).
13. Connect the top radiator hose, a heating hose and perepuskny a hose of a water path. Track reliability of fixing of hoses fixing collars.
14. Fill in in the cooling system necessary amount of mix of the required grade (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
15. Connect a negative wire to the battery, start the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature (the thermostat has to work). Check the level of cooling liquid in a radiator, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
16. Check installations of turns of idling and a corner of an advancing of ignition, in case of need make necessary adjustments (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance). Wait for cooling of the engine and double-check the level of cooling liquid.


Engines of 1.8 l

Also disconnect wire VV from spark plugs and a cover of the distributor.
6. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (TPS) and, fuel injectors. Also disconnect grounding tires.
7. Disconnect all vacuum hoses and tubes impeding the implementation of the forthcoming procedure, including lines of the vacuum amplifier of brakes and the PCV system.
8. Disconnect the top radiator hose, a hose of a heater and perepuskny a hose of a water path.
9. Disconnect lines of giving and return of fuel.
10. Remove the fuel highway assembled with injectors, the regulator of pressure of fuel and insulating plugs.
11. Remove a basic arm of the inlet pipeline.
12. In case of need, if disturbs, remove a thermostat casing from the pipeline.
13. Give fixing bolts / nuts and remove assembly of the inlet pipeline.


Installation

8. Connect the top radiator hose, a heating hose and perepuskny a hose of a water path. Track reliability of fixing of hoses fixing collars.
9. Connect vacuum hoses and tubes (including lines of the vacuum amplifier of brakes and the PCV system).
10. Connect an electrical wiring to TPS and fuel injectors, restore grounding.
11. to the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid and EGR, assembly of management of turns of idling and sensor switch
12. Connect an electrical wiring to the oxygen sensor, sensors of temperature of cooling liquid and EGR, assembly of management of turns of idling and the sensor switch of pressure of oil. Connect wire VV to spark plugs and to the distributor.
13. Connect (and adjust) a cable of gas and an inlet air inlet.
14. Fill in in the cooling system necessary amount of mix of the required grade (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
15. Connect a negative wire to the battery, start the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature (the thermostat has to work). Check the level of cooling liquid in a radiator, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).

Also disconnect wire VV from spark plugs and a cover of the distributor. Take aside an engine electrical wiring braid.
9. Having marked landing situation on the inlet pipeline, remove assembly of the distributor.
10. Remove a basic arm of the inlet pipeline and a lifting eye of the power unit.
11. In case of need, if disturbs, remove a thermostat casing from the pipeline.
12. Turn out fixing bolts and remove assembly of the inlet pipeline. On a workbench dismantle assembly, having removed the delivery camera from the pipeline.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out the interfaced surfaces of the inlet pipeline and a head of cylinders, having completely removed from them traces of sealant and fragments of material of old laying. Make sure of passability of water and air channels, - in case of need make their clearing. In conclusion wipe the interfaced surfaces with the rags moistened in acetone.
2. Mount the delivery camera on the inlet pipeline. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with the required effort (15 ÷ 19 H • м).
3. Lay new sealing laying on the interfaced surface of a head of cylinders, from above press assembly of the inlet pipeline. Screw fixing bolts and, moving in a diagonal order from within outside, evenly tighten them with the required effort (15 ÷ 19 H • м).
4. Install on the engine the fuel highway with injectors and the regulator of pressure. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with the required effort (6 H • м).
5. If removed, establish into place a thermostat casing.
6. Establish a basic arm of the inlet pipeline and a lifting eye of the power unit.
7. Restore initial connection of all lines of communication and an electrical wiring.
8. Trying to obtain combination of the landing tags put in the course of dismantle, install the ignition distributor on the regular place.
9. Fill in in the cooling system necessary amount of mix of the required grade (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
10. Connect a negative wire to the battery, start the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature (the thermostat has to work). Check the level of cooling liquid in a radiator, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
11. Adjust a gas cable, check installations of turns of idling and a corner of an advancing of ignition, in case of need make necessary adjustments (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
12. Wait for cooling of the engine and double-check the level of cooling liquid.

7. Disconnect lines of giving and return of fuel. Remove the directing arms of a cable of the drive of a butterfly valve.
8. Mark and disconnect an electrical wiring from the oxygen sensor, the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid, the thermosensitive sensor switch, TPS, assembly of management of turns of idling, the sensor of temperature of EGR and injectors of injection of fuel. Also disconnect wire VV from spark plugs and a cover of the distributor. Take aside an engine electrical wiring braid.
9. Remove a basic arm of the inlet pipeline.
10. Turn out fixing bolts and remove assembly of the inlet pipeline. In case of need transfer the pipeline to a workbench and make its dismantling.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out the interfaced surfaces of the inlet pipeline and a head of cylinders, having completely removed from them traces of sealant and fragments of material of old laying. Make sure of passability of water and air channels, - in case of need make their clearing. In conclusion wipe the interfaced surfaces with the rags moistened in acetone.
2. In case of need, having replaced laying, collect the pipeline.
3. Lay new sealing laying on the interfaced surface of a head of cylinders, from above press assembly of the inlet pipeline. Screw fixing bolts and, moving in a diagonal order from within outside, evenly tighten them with the required effort (15 ÷ 20 H • м).
4. Install on the engine the fuel highway with injectors and the regulator of pressure. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with the required effort (6 H • м).
5. Establish a basic arm of the inlet pipeline, screw fixing bolts and tighten them with the required effort (18 ÷ 25 H • м).
6. Restore initial connection of all lines of communication and an electrical wiring.
7. Fill in in the cooling system necessary amount of mix of the required grade (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
8. Connect a negative wire to the battery, start the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature (the thermostat has to work). Check the level of cooling liquid in a radiator, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
9. Adjust a gas cable, check installations of turns of idling and a corner of an advancing of ignition, in case of need make necessary adjustments (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
10. Wait for cooling of the engine and double-check the level of cooling liquid.


Engines of 2.8 l

Removal

1. Dump pressure in a power supply system (see the Head of the Power supply system and release).

Do not approach the venue of works with naked flame or the carrying unprotected by the lamp shade! You do not make service of system in the rooms equipped with the heating devices using natural gas and equipped with a control torch (such as vodogre and dryers for clothes). Do not forget that gasoline is among cancerogenic substances, i.e., - the substances promoting development of cancer! Try not to allow hits of fuel on open parts of the body, use rubber protective gloves, at casual unforeseen contact with fuel carefully wash out hands warm water with soap. Immediately collect the spilled fuel and do not put the rags impregnated with fuel and lubricants near sources of naked flame. Remember that the power supply system of the models equipped with injection of fuel constantly is under pressure. Before starting a detachment of fuel lines, dump residual pressure in system. At service of components of a power supply system put on goggles. Constantly hold near at hand the class B fire extinguisher!

2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action! Empty the cooling system.

In order to avoid receiving burns, start performance of this work only after final cooling of system! Do not allow hit of antifreeze on open parts of the body and the painted surfaces of the car. Take aside an engine electrical wiring braid.

8. Previously having marked, disconnect VV an electrical wiring from spark plugs.

9. Remove a basic arm of the inlet pipeline.

10. Turn out fixing bolts and remove assembly of the inlet pipeline. In case of need transfer the pipeline to a workbench and make its dismantling.


Installation

4. Remove an inlet air duct(s).
5. Disconnect cables of the drive of a butterfly valve from the throttle case.
6. Mark and disconnect vacuum hoses, including a hose of the brake amplifier.
7. Mark and disconnect the electrical wiring impeding the implementation of the procedure.
8. Disconnect lines of giving and return of fuel. Remove the directing arms of a cable of the drive of a butterfly valve.
9. Disconnect a tube of EGR and remove the EGR valve and the sensor of temperature of EGR from assembly of the delivery camera of the inlet pipeline.
10. At the corresponding complete set remove the MAR sensor.
11. Remove a basic arm of the delivery camera.
12. Give fixing bolts and nuts and remove the delivery camera from the inlet pipeline. Laying is subject to replacement without fail!
13. Remove the top cover of the GRM drive.
14. Remove a basic arm of the water pump.
15. Remove the fuel highway with injectors.
16. Disconnect hoses of a cooling path from the inlet pipeline, - try to remember routes of laying and an order of connection of hoses.
17. Give fixing nuts and remove the inlet pipeline from the engine.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out the interfaced surfaces of the inlet pipeline, the delivery camera and heads of cylinders, having completely removed from them traces of sealant and fragments of material of old laying. Make sure of passability of water and air channels, - in case of need make their clearing. In conclusion wipe the interfaced surfaces with the rags moistened in acetone.
2. Check surfaces for existence of cracks, estimate degree of their not planeness (see Specifications). Replace faulty components.
3. Lay on the interfaced surfaces of heads of cylinders new sealing laying (the sticky party up).
4. Establish assembly of the inlet pipeline on the regular place.
5. Slightly oil hairpins and screw fixing nuts.
6. Tighten fixture with the required effort (see Specifications).
7. Connect hoses of a cooling path to the inlet pipeline and fix them by new collars.
8. Having replaced sealing rings, establish into place assembly of the fuel highway. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with the required effort (10 ÷ 13 H • м).
9. Having replaced sealing laying, mount the delivery camera and tighten elements of its fixture (bolt/nut) with the required effort (18 H • м).
10. Establish a basic arm and tighten bolts of its fastening with the required effort (18 H • м).
11. If removed, install into place the MAR sensor.
12. Having replaced laying, install the EGR valve, screw also fixing bolts and tighten them with the required effort (22 H • м).
13. Install the sensor of temperature of EGR and tighten its nipple socket with effort 10 ÷ 12 H • m.
14. Connect a tube of EGR and tighten its nipple sockets with effort 60 H • m.
15. Having replaced a sealing ring, connect a fuel supply tube. Tighten fixing bolts with the required effort (5 H • м).
16. Connect the line of return of fuel and record it on the union by means of a new collar.
17. Establish a basic arm of the water pump.
18. Establish the top covers of the GRM drive.
19. Restore initial connection of an electrical wiring and vacuum hoses.
20. Connect and adjust cables of the drive of a butterfly valve.
21. Establish into place an inlet air duct(s).
22. Fill in in the cooling system necessary amount of mix of the required grade (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
23. Connect a negative wire to the battery, start the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature (the thermostat has to work). Check the level of cooling liquid in a radiator, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
24. Check installations of turns of idling and a corner of an advancing of ignition, in case of need make necessary adjustments (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
25. Wait for cooling of the engine and double-check the level of cooling liquid.
