Having turned a bent shaft clockwise, achieve combination adjusting risks on a pulley with a mark T in the lower cover of a gas-distributing belt, - pistons of the 1st and 4th cylinders have to appear in provisions of VMT. Подвигав yokes of the drive of valves of the 1st and 4th cylinders up-down, define which piston from cylinders holds position of VMT of the end of a step of compression (both yokes will freely move).

5. By means of the probe of lezviyny type measure the size of valvate gaps. In the provision of VMT of the end of a step of compression of the piston of the 1st cylinder measurement of gaps inlet and final valves of the 1st and 2nd cylinders is performed. Then the bent shaft should be turned on one whole revolution clockwise for the purpose of reduction in VMT of the end of a step of compression of the piston of the 4th cylinder and measurement of gaps inlet and final valves of the 3rd and 4th cylinders.

6. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications. In case of need weaken a lock-nut of a yoke of the drive of the corresponding valve and make installation of its gap by means of the adjusting screw. Having achieved the required result, tighten a lock-nut with the required effort (12 ÷ 15 H • m for models of 1.5 l / 9 H • m for models 1.8 l), - track that in the course of tightening of a nut position of the screw did not change.
7. Establish into place a cover of a head of cylinders, screw spark plugs and connect a negative wire to the battery.
