5.12. Removal and installation of assembly of the control panel of functioning of a heater and conditioner of air, adjustment of driving cables

The cars considered in the present manual are equipped with system of additional safety of SRS better known as a safety cushion. Before performing any works near assembly of a pillow or a steering column, without fail disconnect system in order to avoid getting injured as a result of its casual operation, - disconnect from the battery at first a negative, then positive wire and wait not less than two minutes before starting service of the components located near sensors of the directed overloads (see the Head for Onboard electric equipment). Isolation and contact sockets of an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS are painted in bright yellow color. It is not necessary to connect any diagnostic units to this chain!

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!

2. Release clamps and remove the central section of finishing of the dashboard (see the Head Kuzov).

3. Remove the radio tape recorder/CD player.

4. Turn out screws of fastening of the control panel of functioning of the heater/conditioner of air Wring out a lever finger and disconnect an air distribution switching damper cable. Disconnect other driving cables and an electrical wiring. By means of nippers release a clamp and remove assembly of the control panel from the car.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Transfer the handle of the choice of temperature condition to situation the MOVE of NOTES (the maximum heating).
2. The driving lever of the distributing damper on assembly of a heater also transfer the MOVE of NOTES to situation, then connect a driving cable to a lever finger.
3. Delay a cable cover in the direction specified by a marker arrow, having provided to assembly a necessary weak point, then fix a cable by means of a clip.
4. Transfer the handle of the choice of the direction of distribution of air to the provision of an obduv of a windshield (DEF). In the same situation install the driving lever of the corresponding damper on assembly of a heater, then connect a driving cable to a lever finger.
5. Delay a cable cover in the direction specified by a marker arrow, having provided to assembly a necessary weak point, then fix a cable by means of a clip.
6. Transfer the lever of the choice of the mode of air circulation to control panels in the mode of the closed circulation. Transfer the driving lever of the corresponding damper on assembly of a heater to the relevant provision. Connect a cable to a lever finger.
7. Delay a cable cover in the direction specified by a marker arrow, having provided to assembly a necessary weak point, then fix a cable by means of a clip.
8. Correctly place assembly of management on the dashboard. Return and strongly tighten fixing screws.
9. Establish a clamp.
10. Connect a negative wire to the battery and check serviceability of functioning of the air conditioning system.
11. Install into place the autoradio tape recorder / компакт-проигрыватель.
12. Establish the central section of finishing of the dashboard (track reliability of a zashchelkivaniye of all provided clamps). Screw and tighten fixing screws.


Adjustment of driving cables

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

2. Transfer the handle of the selector of the choice of the direction of distribution of air to the provision of an obduv of a windshield. Shift the lever of the corresponding damper against the stop inside and connect to it a driving cable. Adjust a cable tightness.
3. Transfer the lever of the choice of the mode of air circulation to the provision of the closed circulation. Shift against the stop inside the damping gate and connect a cable to the driving lever. In a required way adjust a tightness.
